We will also be sponsoring the program "Handling Difficult Topics with Young Adults" from 9 to 10 AM at the Long Island Library Conference this Thursday.
"We have all been put on the spot when a teen confesses something about their lives that we are not trained to handle. It might be the death of a parent, their sexuality or thoughts of suicide. Come learn how to handle those moments with grace while performing your duty as a librarian and a responsible adult.
